A monumental arrangement consisting of rich colour and shape. The cowrie shell is the heart of the family and paired with complimentary brass and freshwater pearls; Addis embodies the Australian coast. Tones of blue and green seen in the lapis lazuli and turquoise mimic the waters of the family’s namesake - Point Addis Beach, Victoria.

Components of the Addis Necklace
Brass - a dynamic, antimicrobial and infinitely recyclable metal.
Freshwater Pearl - an organic and distinct gemstone, ethically garnered through a conscious process.
Cowrie Shell - one of the first forms of currency, the symbolic cowrie shell has been regarded inter-culturally throughout history.
Lapis Lazuli - historically prized for its intense blue colour and it’s reputation to hold metaphysical abilities that assist in deeper self knowledge.
Turquoise - a lush blue-green stone. Mined and worked into jewellery by the Ancient Egyptians, Chinese and Native American cultures for over 5,000 years.
Wear with care - although Addis is strong and versatile, be mindful of pearls and shells as they are less robust. Gently polish brass with bicarbonate soda and lemon juice - further instructions on website. Enjoy pairing with other jewellery and observe the evolution of the piece.
The Addis Necklace comes in two lengths.
The “longer length" (52cm) will fall further down the chest, and the "shorter length" (47cm) will sit higher up the chest. - Ria is shown wearing the “shorter length” and Charles is shown wearing the “longer length”.
The “longer length” will feature a larger sized cowrie shell and the “shorter length” will feature a smaller sized shell to reflect the relative size of each length.
A Nacre Bag is paired with every piece to provide protection and shine.
